Kingstown, St. Vincent And The Grenadines — The Vincentian, The National Newspaper of St. Vincent and The Grenadines, recently reported on the Garifuna Cultural Retrieval Workshop being presented by Garinagu Belizeans JAMES LOVELL and ELEANOR BULLOCK on St. Vincent.
The Garifuna Cultural Retrieval workshop, which took place at The Thomas Saunders Secondary School is an attempt to reintroduce aspects of Garifuna culture to St. Vincentians. St. Vincent is the country where the racial mix of Africans, Caribs and Arawak Indians formed the Garifuna People.
