Albany, New York:  TODAY (Tuesday, March 12th 2013) is Garifuna American Legislative Day. Two buses filled with mostly people (approximately 100) of Garifuna Descent will travel to Albany, the capitol of New York State, to hear New York State Senator Ruben Diaz Sr proclaim March 11th 2013 through April 12th 2013 as Garifuna American Heritage Month in the State of New York.
